About Me

Dr. Jaume Jordán Prunera is a postdoctoral researcher at the Valencian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence (VRAIN) at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) awarded with the postdoctoral scholarship "Juan de la Cierva - Incorporación" IJC2020-045683-I funded by the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación - Agencia Estatal de Investigación (MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033) and by European Union "NextGenerationEU/PRTR" (Plan de Recuperación, Transformación y Resiliencia). In his early postdoctoral stage, he was awarded the APOSTD/2018/010 scholarship co-funded by the Generalitat Valenciana and Fondo Social Europeo (European Union).
He obtained a Computer Science Engineering degree (5-year BSc) from UPV in 2009 and a Master's in Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, and Digital Image in 2011. He received a Ph.D. scholarship from the Spanish government in 2013, and he finished his doctoral thesis entitled 'Non-cooperative Games for Self-Interested Planning Agents' in 2017 with a rating of Outstanding Cum Laude and international mention.
He made several research stays at different Universities during his predoctoral and postdoctoral stages. He also has teaching experience in Bachelor's Degrees, mainly in Computer Science Engineering Degree, and in the Master of Artificial Intelligence at UPV.
Dr. Jordán has a remarkable set of works published in international journals, among which we can highlight several journals indexed in the JCR as Q1-Q2, as well as a publication in the prestigious AAAI conference, classified as core A++, among many other publications in international conferences, from which he has received several awards for research excellence. On the other hand, he has collaborated as the organizer, program committee, reviewer, and editor of several international conferences and journals.
He has participated in 10 R&D projects related to Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Agent Systems, Planning, and Argumentation (one as principal investigator).
Dr. Jordán is mainly focused on Multi-agent Planning, Game theory, Mobility, Recommender Systems, and Genetic Algorithms.
