| Valencia, a city of Spain, is the Capital of the Valencian Community. It is situated on the banks of the Turia river, very close of the river-mouth. Valencia constitutes one of the most important industrial nucleus in Spain, only bettered by Barcelona and Madrid. It was founded in the year 138 b.C. as a secondary Roman Colony (Valentia Edetanorum). | |
