About Valencia

Valencia, a city of Spain, is the Capital of the Valencian Community. It is situated on the banks of the Turia river,  very close of the river-mouth. Valencia constitutes one of the most important industrial nucleus in Spain, only bettered by Barcelona and Madrid. It was founded in the year 138 b.C. as a secondary Roman Colony (Valentia Edetanorum).

With the passing of the centuries, numerous historical events have left their mark on the city thereby enriching its heritage. It has become, culturally and economically, not only one of the main cities in the Autonomous Region, but in Spain.

The location of the city, the warm climate, the open and hospitable character of the people, the wide variety of modern installations available make Valencia an ideal place to hold Congresses and Conventions, for entertainment, leisure, to enjoy holidays or to practice outdoor activities. There is no doubt, Valencia is an ideal place.
