Valencia has excellent air and rail facilities and an International Airport, Manises, situated approximately 4 km from the city centre, with regular scheduled national and international flights. The city also offers excellent road and rail links with many other European cities. The fastest Barcelona-Valencia TGV train services take approximately 2 and a half hours. There are two international airports (Valencia and Alicante) and three maritime passenger terminals (Valencia, Denia and Alicante).
The A-7 Mediterranean Motorway runs north to south providing easy connections to Catalonia and France in the north and Murcia in the south. There are also good road connections to the rest of Spain: the N-III dual carriageway to Madrid, the N-234 Valencia-Zaragoza and the N-330 dual carriageway from Alicante to Madrid.
